Merrilee Bordeaux

Merrilee Bordeaux is a native and resident of the small town of Franklin, North Carolina. A retired middle school teacher of language arts and social studies, she gains her inspiration from the beauty of God’s Western North Carolina mountain area. The love, creativity, and compassion of her friends and family also help her find poetry in everyday events. Merrilee enjoys volunteering at her church and the community. She lives with two of her grandchildren and her beloved dog, Cocoa, who leads the cat clan
